I am in India and I have following ROM by default on HTC P3300 handset
ROM version: 3.7.707.1 WWE
ROM date: 6/21/07
Radio version: 02.69.90
protocol version: 4.1.13.30
ExtROM: 3.6.707.101

Can you please help me to get the same.
I want to install customized ROMs on my mobile. I understand that
changing ROM void warranty of the device. So that, if i want to seek
support from the company, i can reinstall the original one which is
provided by HTC itself and face no problems in RMA.

	It was only fitting that Anil Kumble announced his retirement in Delhi, the scene of his greatest bowling effort, at the end of which he was carried off the field by teammates in an emotional farewell

Anil Kumble has announced his retirement from cricket, saying the finger injury he sustained on the third day of the Test helped him make his decision. The news was made public minutes after the tea break on the final day; Kumble then bowled four overs before the match was called off as a draw.

“The body was asking questions every day,” he said. “It was not easy to keep bowling the way I have been bowling the last 18 years, to keep going. The injury I had on the third day probably helped me make the decision.”

The captaincy now passes on to Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who already leads India in the shorter forms of the game.

Kumble made the formal announcement at the post-match press conference, at which he received a standing ovation from the journalists crowded into the room. He doffed his cap and sat down to speak to the media one last time as an India player and captain. He stayed composed throughout the conference, which took place minutes after the emotional farewell he had received on the field.

Kumble had decided to quit last night but took his time in letting his team-mates know, lest it took their focus off the match. “I did inform my team-mates, who I have played with all these years, one by one during the day,” Kumble said. “Then I informed the chairman of the selection committee just after lunch. I did inform the board as well.”

It took a “nasty injury” to finally push Kumble into retirement. He has had a shoulder injury before, and has been troubled by it, but at 38, the “pretty deep” cut proved too much. “You could see the flesh. There are 11 stitches,” Kumble said. “The doctor said I had to undergo the procedure under general anesthesia. I told him, ‘If you give me general anesthesia I’ll lose time, I’d like to go there and bowl.’ He said ‘Look, it’s a medical decision, not a cricketing decision.”

“The stitches will come out only on November 8, which is the third day of the Nagpur Test. I don’t think it was easy for me to bat or field. I wouldn’t have been 100% and I didn’t want to let the team down. Anyway I had more or less decided this would be my last series.”

Kumble has never given the team less than 100% and he said wanted to be remembered most for that. “I definitely put the team above self, right through my career,” Kumble said. “I believe Indian cricket has certainly gone further from the time when I started, in terms of results, not just in India but also abroad.

“And I am confident that with this young team, with a few of the experienced senior players still being a part of the team, we have an opportunity to dominate world cricket and be No. 1 in all forms of the game. In one-day cricket we’re pretty close to the top, in Twenty20 we’re No. 1, I don’t think we are that far behind in Tests as well and it will be great to see that happen.”

An important part of that surge towards Test leadership would be a series win against Australia. Kumble said he will there in Nagpur to see whether the team can do that. “Ideally I would have liked to finish in Nagpur,” Kumble said. “At this moment, I don’t think I will be traveling with the team, but I will certainly go to Nagpur. I want to see Sourav’s last Test match, and also wish Laxman on his 100th. And win the series. That is the ultimate goal for all of us. I would like to be a part of that.”

It has been a long road for Kumble – 18 years – on which he has come across many highs and lows. “I had to go through a lot of things in the early part of my career,” Kumble said. “People questioning my ability, my fitness, my form, my bowling and the effectiveness of my bowling. I had to go through that then, now right at the end of my career, and even in the middle.

In that sense, after the shoulder surgery [in 2001], I’ve done exceptionally well to have played eight years. To have bowled so many overs and to have got so many wickets, the second phase was certainly more satisfying. We had a lot more victories, not just in India but also abroad: especially the Australia series in 2004, the Pakistan series after that, West Indies and England where we won. All of them were a challenge and to come out triumphant was special.”

The retirement decision, in the end, came easy for Kumble. “The body tells you how far you can go,” he said. “I kept challenging – as a cricketer you are always competitive, always saying, ‘I can do it’. Whether you can or not only time will tell. I kept getting responses from the body saying that you can’t. I fought that, I took various painkillers and tried all sorts of things, but ultimately one injury to the hand said ‘enough now’. I was also not bowling at my best and you want to keep performing at a level that you are satisfied with. That was not happening so I thought this was the right time to move on.”

For a moment as emotional as this, Kumble ended on a humorous note. “At this moment I would like to thank my family, my parents, who gave me all the encouragement, supported me and asked me to bowl legspin. Although I am still trying to find out how I can bowl legspin.

“Thank you all for all the support I have received right through my career. I’ve built some great friendships and met some fantastic people along the way. You’ll probably start calling me from tomorrow for quotes about somebody else. Give me a break for a couple of days and I’ll certainly take all your calls.” Like he has unfailingly answered the Indian team’s calls for the last 18 years.

India’s selectors have picked Sourav Ganguly in a 15-man squad for the
first two Tests against Australia. He is expected to join India A in
Chennai for a Test against New Zealand A beginning on October 3 because
he isn’t part of the ongoing camp in Bangalore. There were also
call-ups for Tamil Nadu batsman S Badrinath and Haryana legspinner Amit
Mishra, who played three one-day internationals in 2003.

The squad consists of seven batsmen, one
wicketkeeper, four fast bowlers and three spinners. The six batting
slots are filled by Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid,
Sachin Tendulkar, Ganguly and VVS Laxman, with Mahendra Singh Dhoni as
wicketkeeper. The two wicketkeepers used in Sri Lanka after Dhoni opted
out, Dinesh Karthik and Parthiv Patel, have been excluded.

Despite the intense speculation on Ganguly’s
future leading up to the selection meeting, the new selectors
apparently felt that he had the three qualities essential for a series
against Australia. "[He has] experience, character and resilience,"
said a national selector. "Besides, whatever his scores may have been
in Sri Lanka, we could not ignore the fact that he has scored in the
last 10 Tests."

Ganguly had reportedly considered quitting cricket
after being overlooked for the Irani Cup match between the Rest of
India and Delhi but India’s new selection panel, headed by Kris
Srikkanth, has valued his experience over youngsters like Rohit Sharma,
Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif.

Ganguly has struggled against Australia, averaging
just 31.73 in 20 Tests compared to an overall average of 41.74 in 109
Tests. Since his recall in December 2006 and till the end of the home
series against South Africa earlier this year, Ganguly scored 1571 runs
at 50.67, including a maiden double-century. However, he managed only
96 runs in six innings during India’s 2-1 series defeat in Sri Lanka
this summer.

After being called in as a substitute fielder
during the home series against Pakistan late last year, Badrinath had a
spell in the cold till he was named as Tendulkar’s replacement for the
Sri Lanka ODIs, and played three games. Dhoni, his captain for the
ODIs, publicly expressed his satisfaction at Badrinath’s attitude
during the series. He managed only 92 runs in the recent A team series
against Australia and New Zealand and had a poor Irani Cup but the
selectors have clearly indicated that he is the future.

"I am really happy to be selected to play against
Australia," Badrinath said. "I was expecting this call. I will take
tomorrow’s match as serious practice. It will give me some experience
against them."

Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma will lead the
bowling attack along with Munaf Patel and RP Singh. Anil Kumble,
India’s captain, Harbhajan Singh and Mishra, 25, make up the spin
quotient. Mishra, who has 289 first-class wickets at 25.21, had a fine
domestic season (38 wickets in the Ranji Trophy) and has also staked a
claim through his good IPL performances (11 wickets at 12.55).

Mishra, a neat and organised spinner, was included
in India’s Test squad to face West Indies in 2002 but did not get a
game then. He subsequently made his ODI debut against South Africa in
Dhaka in 2003 but fell out of national reckoning since. He has now
pipped left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha, who was in the Test side for Sri
Lanka and played in the ODI series. Piyush Chawla, the Uttar Pradesh
legspinner, was the other name doing the rounds but he too has been
overlooked.

Mishra said his stint with the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL – during which he claimed a hat-trick against Deccan Chargers – transformed his career.

"It all started from the IPL. It gave me the
platform to interact with greats like Shane Warne," Mishra said. "I
specifically worked on my loop and top spin. I am very happy after
hearing the news. I feel great as I’ve been expecting the call over the
last year."

Before the selection meeting, the selectors were
"briefed" by Shashank Manohar, the BCCI president. Manohar, apparently,
delivered a "convincing and forceful talk" on the need to plan for the
team’s future, given that the senior players are on the last leg of
their careers. He also reminded the selectors of the board’s guidelines
for the committee, including curbs on media assignments.

The first Test starts in Bangalore on October 9.
The second is in Mohali from October 17-21. The squad for the remaining
fixtures, in Delhi and Nagpur, will be named after the second Test.

before we take it out for a spin.

West Indies 303 for 4 (Marshall 157*, Johnson 51, Rizwan Cheema 3-31)
beat Canada 254 (Rizwan Cheema 89, Nash 3-56) by 49 runs
Xavier Marshall hits one of his record 12 sixes
Xavier Marshall blasted the most sixes in a one-day international
innings as he demolished Canada’s bowlers and set up a 49-run victory
for West Indies. Marshall’s 12 sixes broke a 12-year-old record of 11
in an innings, set in 1996 by Sanath Jayasuriya and equalled six months
later by Shahid Afridi. Marshall finished unbeaten on 157 from 118
deliveries – he also struck 11 fours – and it was a memorable way for
him to pass fifty for the first time in an ODI. Two of West Indies’
newest players gave him strong assistance with Leon Johnson scoring 51
in a 128-run stand with Marshall.
But the most destructive period came in the final 12 overs, when
Marshall really cut loose and combined with Brendan Nash (39 not out)
for an unbeaten 111-run partnership that pushed the score to 303 for 4.
The only Canada bowlers to finish with respectable figures were Eion
Katchay, who picked up 1 for 25 from ten overs, and Rizwan Cheema,
whose ten brought him 3 for 31.
It continued an excellent debut series for Cheema, and he proceeded to
keep his side afloat with a powerful 89 from 69 deliveries. For a while
he was threatening to challenge Marshall’s hours-old record and he had
six sixes when he was caught off Nash in the 19th over.
From there Canada’s batsmen could only manage a few solid starts as
Nash continued his strong all-round game to finish with 3 for 56. Dave
Mohammed, playing his first ODI in nearly two years, picked up 2 for 34
as West Indies made the victory a formality. They will again meet
Canada on Sunday in the final of the tri-series.

The Lou Gramm Band

In 2003, Gramm once again split from Foreigner to rejuvenate his solo career
with a band that included Bruce Turgon on
bass, Rocket Richotte on guitar, Kevin Neal on drums, John Purdell on
keyboards (who suddenly passed away very early during the tour), and Gary
Corbett on keyboards. Following the death of both his father and mother, Bennie
and Nikki Grammatico – - he a trumpeter and bandleader, she a singer for his Big
Band – - Gramm and the initial lineup decided it best to take different paths.
Fulfilling a lifelong wish of his parents that their three musical sons might
someday make their music together, Gramm and his brothers, Ben and Richard,
formed the current lineup of the Lou Gramm Band (also known as "LGB").

Gradually, Gramm’s health and energy rebounded. The band has been touring the
U.S., Canada, and Mexico steadily since January 2004, as well as occasional
dates off the continent…and the touring continues.

Lou, Ben, and Richard, with friends Don Mancuso and
Andy Knoll, play a retrospective of Gramm’s work with Foreigner, his solo
material, plus a few personal favorites of their own. In addition, the band will
be taking on Christian rock. The Lou Gramm Band has plans to release an
all-Christian rock album, which is currently in production, for release in 2008
through Spectra
Records.

for almost as long as the HTML Dog book project. Thanks to everyone who has
made that possible, including all of those who have attended it. It has been a great
example of a genuine appetite for pushing best-practice web design and development
to their limits, and it has kept my enthusiasm and passion for the subject
fresh. @media and HTML Dog are my babies, so they must be related.
I have always regarded New Riders as by far the best, most discerning, and most
respectable publisher of Web-related books. It has been a roller-coaster ride, but I
am very proud to finally be a published New Riders author alongside so many great
Web heavyweights. So, to the publisher, and extended family and friends, thanks to
David Fugate, Linda Bump Harrison, Darcy DiNucci, Marjorie Baer, Nancy Davis, Joe
Marini, Doug Adrianson, and everyone else involved in building this quality culturally
infused slab of ink-sprinkled reconstituted plant fibers.
